Obituary for Angie Kay Darling
Angie K. Darling, 53, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her residence.
A public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and a time of sharing on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Kent Stillson will lead the prayer service.
Angela Kay Darling, daughter of James and Kathleen (Demarais) Hanson was born on November 16, 1967 in Van Nuys, CA. She grew up in Crookston and Thief River Falls, MN until the family moved to Watertown, SD, where she graduated from Watertown High School in 1986. Angie earned her Bachelor's degree in International Business from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, MN.
On July 15, 2009 she married Kevin Darling in Treasury Island, FL. The couple lived in the communities of Willow Lake and Watertown, SD. Angie was employed by Culligan Water previously owned by her parents.
Angie loved spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, thrifting, traveling, family, and friends.
Angela's memory will be cherished by her husband, Kevin Darling; their sons, Tyler (Jade) Hanson of Sioux Falls, SD, Chase (Holly) Bratland and Shane Bratland of Watertown, SD; her parents, James and Kathy Hanson of Watertown, SD; her brother, Jason (Beth) Hanson of Watertown; her grandchildren, Grayves and Dresden Hanson; and her nieces.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
