Obituary for Barbara M. Endres
Barbara M. Endres, age 85, of Watertown, SD passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 in Watertown.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown with Father Richard Fox officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Watertown.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Alex and Spencer Ferguson, Jon Akre, Jacob and Lucas Endres and Chad Malsam.
Memorials may be given to Codington County Cares.
Barbara Mae Endres was born to Bill and Mae (Barrett) LaFramboise on a farm near Summit, SD on October 8, 1937. She moved with her family to Watertown as a toddler and attended Lincoln Elementary school and Watertown High School.
On February 15, 1958 she married Thomas "Tom" Endres at the Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. To this union five children, Rick, Diana, Kay, Paul and Mike were born. Barbara was employed at various businesses including Midland National Life, Herberger's, Northwest Fabrics, Walmart and Hallmark. Throughout her married life she lived in the communities of Mitchell, Aberdeen and Mobridge.
She enjoyed time with her family, coffee with friends, and her craft group.
Barbara is survived by her children, Diana (Shane) Ferguson of Sioux Falls, SD, Kay (Jim) Akre of Parkston, SD, Paul Endres and Mike (Kristi) Endres of Watertown, SD; nine grandchildren, Kara (Chad) Malsam, Alex Ferguson, Spencer (Becca) Ferguson, Taylor and Jon Akre, Hannah, Jacob, Lucas and Jaydon Endres; two great-grandchildren, Connor Malsam and Charlotte Ferguson, and one more expected to arrive in May of 2023; her sister, Shirley Johnson of Watertown, SD; and her brother, Greg (Glenda) LaFramboise of Concord, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tom Endres, her son Rick Endres, and her in-laws Albert and Loretta Endres.
