Obituary for Corinne J. Kuper

Corinne Kuper (widow of Reverend Marlyn Kuper), age 91 of Watertown passed away peacefully at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.

Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Monday, January 3 2022 with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with Reverend Roger Spahr and Reverend Eldon Reich officiating.

Honorary urn bearers will be her grandchildren, Stacey (Phil) Schwartz, Kim(Mike) Haas, Angie Tesch (Tony), Ryan (Amanda) Ohnstad, Russell Felt and Katie Felt (Dyllan).

Corinne Jean Kuper was born May 2, 1930 to Harold and Katherine (Buus) Anderson in Summit, SD. She grew up in Summit and graduated from Summit High School.

Corinne and Marlyn were married on June 22, 1952 and three children, Kristie, Kathie and Kerry were born to this union. The couple resided in Milbank, SD where she worked in the bank and was a devoted homemaker. They moved to Wyoming and upon returning to Watertown she enjoyed being a homemaker and also worked at Herbergers and Top Crop as a bookkeeper. She also loved spending time with family and many friends.

She and her husband enjoyed many years of square dancing and attended many festivals. Golf, bowling and crochetting were also special to her. Corinne spent many years along side Marlyn ministering by singing in many churches and also enjoyed many mission trips to Arizona. They lived in various states through out the years.

Corinne is survived by her children, Kristie (Bob) Hoffman and Kathie (Ray) Felt all of Watertown. SD. Seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and her sister Bev Pugh of Battle Lake Mn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Marlyn Kuper of 68 years and son Kerry.
