Deborah "Deb" S. Arnold, age 69, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her residence.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Family Worship Center-Foursquare Church in Watertown with Reverend Steve Ferguson officiating. Nash Grantham will be the soloist.
Burial will be private for the family at Mount Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD.
Pallbearers will be Marwin Sharkey, Craig Hegge, Robert Arnold, David Pendley, Gordon Bleeker and Jim Knudson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Deb's brother, Michael Schwaller, and Deb's grandchildren: Hailey Arnold, Hannah Arnold, Jack Arnold, Charles Sejnoha, Max Sejnoha and Slayter Sejnoha.
Deborah Sue Arnold, daughter of Joseph and Cecilia (Schmitz) Schwaller was born on June 10, 1952 in Sac City, Iowa. She grew up in Gregory, SD where she attended school and graduated from Gregory High School in 1970. On July 14, 1973 she married Dennis Arnold in Watertown, SD. Together they raised two children, Anthony and Nikole.
Deb worked at Feinstein's Womens Clothing in Watertown. She then became a Realtor with Roby Agency-Caldwell Bankers and was Partner/Owner of Arnold Construction, Inc and also Secretary/Treasurer.
Deb loved being a wife, mother, homemaker, and grandmother and cherished time spent with her family and friends. Deb loved and cared for each of her grandchildren and wanted them to grow up to love and serve Jesus with all their hearts. She also loved to help and care for other people.
Deb was an active member of Family Worship Center -Foursquare Church where she attended Bible Studies, was a Sunday School teacher, worked with Youth Ministries, and was co-chair of the Church Building Committee and Fundraising Committee. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, motor cycling, vintage cars, and antiquing.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her husband, Dennis Arnold of Watertown; her children, Anthony (Angela) Arnold of Watertown and Nikole (Dustin) Sejnoha of Sioux Falls; six grandchildren; her siblings, Linda Sharkey of Brandon, Betty Hegge of Mitchell, and Michael Schwaller of Elmwood, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Judy (Joe) Geaghan, her brother John Schwaller, a brother-in-law Ron Arnold, her nephews Shawn Schwaller and Ryan Arnold, her great nephew Tavian Shaw, and her parents-in-law Wesley and Arlys Arnold.
