Mr. Donald Gene Stee, of Watertown, South Dakota, born on September 19, 1934, in South Shore, South Dakota, to the late Mabel Irene Johnson Stee and the late Julius Martin Stee, passed away at age 84 on February 15, 2019, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown. The committal service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Bergen Cemetery, rural South Shore, with Pastor Jerod Jordan officiating.
Donald graduated from Augustana Academy High School in 1951. He served in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge he was a salesman by trade. Donald was the beloved husband of the late Donna Lee Antijunti Stee.
He was a member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association and had many hobbies including traveling, collecting antiques, reading and growing tomatoes.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie Stee.
Donald is survived by his son, Brian Stee (wife, Alison Stee); daughters, Dawn Stee, Colleen Stee and Lori Stee; sister, Lillian Stee Jeffrey; grandchildren, Isabella Besser, Jeffrey Stee and Erick Stee; and nephew, Nicholas Jeffrey.
