Obituary for Douglas Allen Fisher
Douglas "Beno" Fisher, age 68, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Prairie Lakes Healthcare.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the memorial services at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Salvation Army with Lt. Zac Zumwalt officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at the Esterly Cemetery, Florence, SD.
Honorary urn bearers will be Brad Learn, Kevin Beynon, Robert Weeks, Mike Weber and Ron Keller.
Urn bearers will be Douglas' grandchildren, Riley, Kooper, Aria, Trinity, Lilly, Zach and Serenity.
Douglas Allen Fisher, son of Douglas J. and Catherine (Jungen) Fisher was born on October 28, 1953 in Watertown, SD where he attended school. On February 12, 1985 he married Sue Letze in Sioux Falls, SD. Douglas was self-employed as a roofer and painter.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Sue; his sons, Bryce Fisher, Jason Fisher, Lee (Katie) Nelson and family, and Ryan Fisher and family; 7 grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Catherine Fisher; his siblings, Roger and Steven Fisher, and Roxie Rieffenberger.
