Obituary for Evelyn A. Taylor
Evelyn “Evie” Arlene Taylor, age 83 of Watertown, SD and formerly of Marietta, MN, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at her home.
Private family services will be Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with Chaplain John Miles officiating. Burial will be at Augusta Cemetery at Marietta, MN.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Mason, Darin Mason, Gene Clausen, Kent Ottum, Darla Clausen and Deone Ottum.
Evelyn was born on March 5, 1937, in Marietta, MN to Dillon and Bernice (Reber) Taylor. She grew up in Marietta and attended Marietta School. Evelyn moved to Watertown, SD with her mother, Bernice and sister, Avis in 1993.
She enjoyed going to Atco, later named New Horizons, for many years. Evelyn enjoyed family get-togethers, embroidering kitchen towels and pillow cases that she would give as gifts, sewing doll clothes, coloring, painting pictures and doing word finds.
Evelyn is survived by two sisters, Carol Vogel of Marshalltown, IA and Marjorie (Bernard) Mason of Watertown, SD; her brother, Glenn (Joann) Taylor of Orting, WA; 13 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; seven great-great nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great niece and nephew.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Avis Miller; her brother, Wayne Taylor; her sister-in-law, Rosie Taylor; her niece; an infant nephew; and an infant great-niece.
