Grace Eleanor Hedin, age 86, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Avantara Care Center in Milbank.
Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. with Grace's memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in Watertown with Pastor Jen Tyler officiating.
There will be refreshments served at the church immediately following Grace's service.
Grace Hedin was born to Donald and Eleanor (Short) Sherwood in Eau Claire, WI. She married John "Lynn" Hedin on February 3, 1962 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The couple lived in Minneapolis until 1982, when they moved to Watertown, South Dakota.
Grace enjoyed baking, volunteering at the church, visiting with friends and family, and sharing her warm smile and caring compassion everywhere she went.
Grace is survived by her son, Martin (Renee) Hedin of Minnesota and their children, Philip, Keri-Ann, Candice and Christine; her daughter, Julie (Scott) Lively of Massachusetts and their children, Abbie, Scotty, Oliver and Sarah; and her nieces, nephews and their families.
