Obituary for Josh R. Gross
Josh Gross, age 21, of South Shore, SD, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Waite Park, MN.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with memorial services to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore with Reverend Ken Nelson officiating.
Burial will be at the Milbank City Cemetery, Milbank, SD.
Joshua Ryon Gross, son of Ryon and Dawn (Koch) Gross was born on August 15, 2001 in Pierre, SD. He attended Waverly-South Shore School where he played football, basketball and pole vaulted. Josh attended the state meet for pole vaulting and placed 3rd in his senior year and graduated in 2019.
Josh enjoyed traveling and strongly believed that there was, "Never a day you couldn't learn something new."
Left to cherish Joshua's memory are his mother, Dawn Gross of South Shore; his siblings, Jessica Gross of Waite Park, MN, Anthony Gross of Sioux Falls, Deontay Gross of Milbank, and Alexis Gross of South Shore; his maternal grandparents, Mike and Gail Strobl of Twin Brooks; his paternal grandparents, Allen and Karen Gross of Menno; his nephew, Grayson Ryon Gross; and his niece, Karsyn Marie Pillatzki.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ryon.
