Obituary for Kathleen Mary "Kit" Hoff
Kathleen "Kit" Hoff, age 67, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in her home.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with memorial services to follow at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with Reverend Bradley Seaton officiating.
Inurnment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Watertown.
Kathleen Mary Hoff was born on August 6, 1954 to Edmund and Daphne (Martin) Hurkes in Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up in Watertown, where she attended school and graduated from Watertown High School. Kit worked in Aberdeen, SD and then moved to Fremont, NE, where both of her children, Neil and Paula were born. The family moved to Hudson, WI where Kit was a stay at home mom.
She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Bella. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, Sudoku and Pepsi.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Neil (Lacey) Hoff and their daughter, Emberlee Hoff of Austin, TX; her sister, Donna Hurkes of Watertown; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Edmund and Daphne Hurkes, her daughter Paula Hoff, and her brother Stephen Hurkes.
