Obituary for Linda Todd
Linda Todd, age 73, of Watertown, SD passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown.
Visitation will be from 4-6:00 pm, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
Linda Rae Todd was born on April 1, 1949 in Watertown, South Dakota to George H. and Nellie M. (Barton) Sherrill. She grew up in Watertown attending Mellette grade school and graduated from Watertown High School in 1967. She also attended SDSU. Linda taught Biology at Harmony Hill for a few years.
Linda and David Todd were married May 5, 1974 at First United Methodist Church in Watertown. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Melissa.
Linda loved to craft but especially enjoyed making quilts in which she made hundreds of beautiful quilts for her church, family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Melissa Todd of Watertown; her brothers, Kenneth (Sandy) Sherrill of Watertown and Gary (Kathe) Sherrill of Rapid City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother; her brother, George Sherrill; and her step-sister, Helen Rittel.
