Obituary for Marion Cleo Goos
Marion Cleo (Lammers) Goos, age 89, formerly of rural Gary, SD, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her Watertown, SD residence.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Augusta Cemetery in Marietta, MN at a later date.
Marion was born on August 26, 1932 to Henry and Florence (Goldbeck) Lammers at their farm at Bemis, SD. She attended rural schools and graduated from Clear Lake High School. She married Loren Goos on September 14, 1951. The couple farmed in Antelope Valley until moving to Watertown, SD in 1993. Marion was a farm wife until graduating from LATI and began working at Midwest Medical. She then worked at Midcom, Caseys and then at Walmart for 10 years until retiring because of health concerns at the age of 85.
Marion is preceded in death by her spouse, siblings and parents.
She is survived by four children, Laurie (Rick) Jensen of Vermillion, SD, David (Kristi) of Brookings, SD, Karen (Mark) Mogen of Aberdeen, SD, and Jan (Don) Robson of Watertown, SD; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
