Micheal Dailey, 79, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.

Please note: The visitation will continue from 5-8 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown.
Private family burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Watertown, SD.
Pallbearers will be Micheal's grandsons: Nicholas, Alan and Lucas Lanning, Michael and Andrew Tressa, Brock Dailey, Jacob Hawkins, and Zac, Travis and Wyatt Dailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Shriners Healthcare for Children—Twin Cities, 2025 East River Pkwy., Minneapolis, MN 55414.
Micheal Edmund Dailey was born on June 27, 1940 to John and Margaret (Talty) Dailey in Clear Lake, South Dakota. He attended Country School Lake Alice District #20 for 8 years and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1958.
On April 23, 1959 he married Bonnie Winter at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Micheal worked for area farmers before moving to Watertown in 1969 and then began working for Schweiger's. He started GS Sanitation in October of 1976 and sold the business in 2006.
Micheal was a Golden Gloves Heavy Weight Boxer in ND, SD and MN. He was a member of the Shriners and worked the paper truck at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He had a great sense of humor and was hard working. He loved playing with the kids and was very generous; always giving little gifts away. He enjoyed raising a huge garden and dancing.
Micheal is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Watertown; his children, Natalie Lanning of Watertown, Michele (Mike) Tressa of Wilkes Barre, PA, Ramona Shelly of Shawnee, KS, Richard (Amanda) Dailey of Winner, SD, Joseph Dailey of Prior Lake, MN, and Tammy LaFramboise and Rocky (Wendy) Dailey of Brookings, SD; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Jerry (Lorene) Dailey of Omaha, NE, Gene Dailey of Charleston, NC, Matt (Cynthia) Dailey of Alexandria, VA, Margaret Ann DeBoer of Altamont, SD, Tim (Debbie) Dailey of Dalhart, TX and Jim (Linda) Dailey of Altamont, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Kay Kallhoff, Nora Grabow and Helen Pautsch; two grandsons, Cody Dailey and Ryan Kolden; and one brother, Tom Dailey.
