Paul Waldner, age 64, passed away on January 13, 2020 in Watertown, SD.

As Paul wished, his family will hold a private memorial service in his memory.

Paul was born on June 22, 1955 to Paul and Annie Waldner at Pearl Creek Colony. After leaving the colony, Paul worked at McCain’s in Clark for many years. He also lived in Denver, Co. for a number of years, where his Aunt Laura and family lived.

Upon returning to South Dakota, Paul moved to Watertown and started working at Country Inn & Suites.

It didn’t take long for Jerri and her staff to become like family to him. He loved his work in Customer Service and the guests loved him! It was easy for Paul to make people laugh. He will be missed.

Paul also enjoyed traveling. When he had time off, you could find him on the road looking for another adventure, taking a lot of beautiful pictures along the way!

Paul is survived by five sisters, Annie (Sam) Wollman, Hilda Hofer, Linda (Dan) Waldner, Lorrine (Macky) Waldner, Sarie (Zack) Wollman; four brothers, Bill (Dorys) Waldner, Rudy (Julie) Waldner, Wayne (Sara) Waldner, Gary (Karen) Waldner. Lots of nieces, nephews and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosanne, brother-in-law Josh Hofer.
