Richard was born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota on May 23, 1950 to Francis and Avis (Zwart) Heyduk of Egan, South Dakota. He graduated from Egan High School and then attended South Dakota Barber College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Linda and Family ~ Harvey and I were so sorry to hear about Dick. He had the greatest smile and laugh and it seemed like he was always in a good mood the few times we have seen him the last few years.
I remember the first day I started at Smith Equipment and Linda told me she was pregnant. And then . . . lo and behold, Brock was the first New Year's Baby followed by Lenora (Lenny) to complete your lovely family. Dick will be missed by all of you and his friends. Remember the wonderful times you were able to spend with him.
