Obituary for Richard E. Tauer
Richard E. Tauer, age 60, of Watertown, passed away from lung cancer on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
Private family graveside services will be in the spring.
Richard was born in Watertown on May 30, 1959 to Peter and Marilyn (Keyes) Tauer. He graduated from Watertown High School. While in high school, Richard was on the wrestling team. He had Arrow pride his whole life and enjoyed listening to Arrow sports on the radio. He also loved the Minnesota Twins baseball and Minnesota Vikings football.
Richard's family want to extend many thanks to Sanford Hospital, Ava's Hospice House and Meadow Lakes Assisted Living for their loving care.
Richard is survived by his daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
