Obituary for Rikki Jo Cordell
Rikki Jo Cordell, age 41, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown.
A private ceremony will be held with close friends and family.
Rikki Jo Cordell was born on July 17, 1978 to Gary and Cherry (Blacksher) Sprott in Grand Junction, Colorado. She grew up in Grand Junction where she graduated from high school. She then attended American River College in Sacramento, CA.
On June 7, 2006 Rikki and Perry Cordell were united in marriage in Sacramento. In 2012 they moved to Watertown where they have lived ever since. Rikki was currently employed as a lab technician at Agropur in Lake, Norden.
She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Rikki loved her animals and breeding pit bulls. She also loved cliff jumping, swimming and the outdoors. She enjoyed music and singing.
Rikki is survived by her husband, Perry; her children, Cooper Ibson of Hawaii and Reality Ibson of Arizona; her mother, Cherry Sprott of Colorado Springs, CO; her siblings, Candy Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Sprott of Utah and Crystal Sprott of Colorado Springs, CO.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary.
