Robert Joseph Bisping, son of Leo and Bernadine (DeVille) Bisping was born on March 6, 1948 in Glencoe, MN. He grew up in the Waverly area and graduated from Waverly High School in 1966. Bob was always proud to call himself a Waverly “Woodchuck.” He was a hard worker and worked for John Deere, Minnesota Rubber and then retired as an employee of Angus Palm Industries.
On August 29, 1970, he married Charlene Boerger at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. To this union two daughters, Chris and Kim were born.
He was in a relationship with Sarah Deslauriers and through this relationship Caitlin was born.
Bob was passionate about sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR races featuring Dale Ernhardt. In Bob’s free time he enjoyed spending time with his longtime friend Anotta Britzman. He and Anotta attended many of their grandkids' activities together. They enjoyed gardening, golfing, playing pinochle, and enjoying an ice-cold beverage on the back patio with their beloved dog Beringer by their side. Out of the things that Bob was most proud of, it was his three daughters. He looked forward to time spent together with the girls and their families. Bob was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church where he always sat in his favorite pew in the back row.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his daughters, Chris (Tino) Pereira of Omaha, NE, Kim (Chad) Rohde and Caitlin (Landon) Broek of Watertown, SD; his longtime friend, Anotta Britzman of Watertown, SD; his sister, Phyllis Bisping of Papillion, NE; his brother, Kenny Bisping of Watertown, SD; and seven grandchildren, Olivia, Raegen, Maddy, Kayde, Chase, Emery and Graham.
