Rollin was born November 3, 1943 in Clark, SD at the home of Mabel Stacey to Erich and Evelyn (Schrader) Imme. Rollin attended grade school in Woodland Township with his mother as his teacher in the first four years. He attended Thorp High School for two years and finished at Clark High School. While growing up he worked at many neighboring farms and a road construction company. Rollin was a member of the Clark National Guard for 6 years. On April 27, 1968 he married Antonette Dupont at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. They had 3 children, Craig, Sarah, and Rebecca. At this time, Rollin began employment at Minnesota Rubber (Quadee) and retired 37 1/2 years later. The family lived on a farm north of Watertown for 15 years and then moved into Watertown. Rollin always loved farming and enjoyed calving and raising cattle. The family dog, Sadie was a loyal companion who was always by his side.

Rollin’s love for his family and farming showed at family gatherings. Rollin loved to tease and dance. His high pitch laugh was contagious. Ice cream every night was a must. On the farm, taking a hanky out to wipe off something on the tractor would not surprise anyone. His heart melted for the kitties in the barn. His brother Roger would always be a bright spot in his summer to help him with haying.

Antonette passed away August 2, 2000.

Rollin married Margaret Johanson in Watertown on May 3, 2003.

Survivors include his wife Margaret and his children: Craig (Jessica) Imme, of Sioux Falls, Sarah (Stacy) Stanton Watertown, and Rebecca (Dave) Peters, Brookings, 16 grandchildren and another on the way, 3 great-grandchildren, stepdaughter, Jennifer (Chuck) Gallop of Gower, Mo.

He is also survived by 2 sisters, Delores Graver, Juneau AK, Margaret Nordhus, Clark, SD, and sister-in-law, Kay Imme, Brooklyn Park, MN. Rollin was preceded in death by his parents, Erich and Evelyn Imme, his wife, Antonette, and his brother, Roger Imme.
