Suzanne “Susie” Aker, age 67, of Watertown, SD, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence.
At Susie’s request there will be no public services. Interment will be private at the Milbank City Cemetery, in the spring.
Susie was born on May 10, 1952 at Batesville, Indiana to William Rea and Dorothy (Gridley) Farrar. She grew up and attended schools in Vevay, Indiana, Grass Valley, California and Elk Grove, California.
Susie married Roger Kent Aker on November 15, 1985. The couple had great love for their dogs. She was employed at Roosevelt School in Watertown.
Susie fought with kidney failure for years and wishes to thank Pastor Paul Janke for helping her deal with it. He was a great support to her.
Susie would like to give special love to the Brown family from Indiana; her sister, MaryAnn and husband, John from Missouri; and also a special love to Sandy Bouvette.
Susie: “Everyone be kind to one another. My parents have passed away but I want to give all my love to them and they know they have my heart. I have missed them greatly. They were wonderful parents; and daddy was my Hero!”
Susie is survived by her husband, Roger of Watertown; and her sister MaryAnn Snapp of Fulton, MO.
