Terry Meyer, age 65 of Watertown, SD passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Watertown.
Terry Lynn Meyer was born on March 11, 1956 in Webster, South Dakota to Albert and Ida (Martel) Meyer. He grew up in Summit, South Dakota where he graduated from high school. After graduation he moved to Watertown, South Dakota.
He married Sue Lee Henderson on July 25, 1986 in Watertown and the couple was blessed with three children, Eric, Lisa and Corey.
Terry was employed at Superior Homes in Watertown for over 30 years.
Terry loved riding his motorcycle and driving his pickup around town with his yellow lab. He also enjoyed chasing after his grandchildren.
Terry is survived by his children, Eric Meyer of Watertown, SD, Lisa (Troy) Peterson of Bradley, SD and Corey Meyer of Watertown, SD; his sisters, Linda (Alan) DeLong of MO and Anita (Scott) Clark of Bryant, SD; brother-in-law, Roy Nielsen of Marvin, SD; and eight grandchildren, Austin, Nevaeh, Emma, Avery, Edyn, Rhett, Warren and Vera.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, his brother, Larry; and his sister, Dianne Nielsen.
