Wallace L. Sykora, age 83, (formerly of Watertown) passed away January 1, 2022 at his home in Limestone, TN.

Arrangements will be handled by Jeffers Funeral Home in Greeneville, TN. A Celebration of Life
and tree planting will be held in the spring of 2022.

Wallace LeRoy Sykora was born April 2, 1938 to LeRoy and Lillian (Olson) Sykora in Sisseton, SD.
He moved to Watertown in 1942 and graduated from Watertown High School in 1957 where he excelled in sports. Wallace attended college in Michigan and served in the National Guard until he completed his studies in Electrical Engineering.

He married LaDonna Schnackenberg of Watertown and the couple had one daughter, Wendy.

His career with Daniel International moved his family to many states throughout the years. He retired from Daniel in 1992. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, gardening and raising his Springer Spaniels.

Wallace is survived by his daughter, Wendy of Limestone, TN; two sisters, Elva Sigurdson of
Watertown and Janice Mauritzon and her husband Arvid of Clio, Michigan; many nieces, nephews and friends; and his beloved dog Gracie.
