William “Bill” Chilson, age 84, of Watertown, SD, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Jenkins Living Center.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Watertown.  Pastor Steve Anderson will officiate with music by Ben Gietzen and Vicki Krueker.   Please note location: Visitation will be 5-7:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.   Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown with Military Honors by  SD Army National Guard Honors Team.   Pallbearers will be Matt Hasner, Jesse Kinyon, Dan Cox, Ben LeBlanc, Doug LeBlanc and Adam LeBlanc.   William Ralph Chilson was born November 1, 1933 to William B. and Elvina (Erickson) Chilson in Sisseton, South Dakota.  He grew up in Peever, South Dakota.  He served in the US Army.  Bill had been employed by Minnesota Rubber in Watertown until his retirement.    He married Jrene L. Burns on April 4, 1969 in Watertown, South Dakota.   Grateful for having shared in Bill’s life are his wife, Jrene; his two children, Todd (Cindy) Kinyon of Watertown and Jolene Hasner of Watertown; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.    Bill was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Raye Lynn Chilson; brothers, Darwin “Pud” Chilson and Bryon Chilson; sisters, Deloris Hortness, Avis Wilson, Jeanne Leiseth, Wilma Sundheim, Lorraine Reick and Verna Klemm.
