Obituary

Teri L. Stormo, age 57, of Watertown, South Dakota, passed away on August 14, 2020.

A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown with Fr. Richard Fox officiating.

Teri Lynn (McRoden) Stormo was born on June 2nd, 1963 to Glenn and Mary (DeVine) McRoden in Reseda, California. She and her family moved to Moorpark, CA. and eventually to Watertown, SD.

She graduated from Watertown High School in 1981. After graduation she attended Lake Area Tech receiving her degree in Nursing. Teri worked in the healthcare field for many years. Her heart was truly with her patients.

She married Don Stormo in 1982. The couple had two children, Brian and Sarah
.
In the years that followed Teri enjoyed camping trips with her family, developed lasting friendships, loved her family, adored her cats, and took care of many patients. She was loved by many.

Teri is survived by her mother Mary McRoden; her children Brian and Sarah Stormo; grandson, Logan Stormo; siblings, Patti (Dan) Tschakert, Linda (John) Juba, Mike McRoden, and Gail Terry; and her partner Marc Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her father Glenn McRoden.
